MRJ Strategic Review

Over the past six years, the Movement for Reform Judaism has significantly increased its profile and influence, working to a vision and strategy successfully devised by its former Head of Movement and Chief Executive, Rabbi Dr Tony Bayfield.
We are hugely indebted to him for his excellent work. Nevertheless, since that last strategy was put in place, the environment in which the Movement for Reform Judaism operates has changed substantially

In order to respond to this changing world the Movement has undertaken a strategic review and now wants to consult with its communities.  The purpose of this paper is provide a vehicle for discussion of the future direction of the Movement for Reform Judaism.

  • Attend, and encourage others to attend, the session at the Northern Network conference on the strategic review
