Wimbledon Synagogue Community Cookbook Project & Form

Please join in the Wimbledon Synagogue Community Cookbook Project. Our aim is to create a cookbook together.
- It will be a handbook for community life and events, containing recipes, resources and information.
- We would like to gather and share the recipes, food memories and family traditions of our community in all its breadth.
More than just another Jewish cookbook
The WimShul Community Cookbook will contain recipes and advice for community events, cooking for a crowd, tips on preparing food packages for the ill or elderly and how to use food to help children learn about celebrating Shabbat and festivals. It will also take you through the basics of preparing easy and delicious meals for family and guests, for festivals and Shabbat, even when you are short of time.
We would like the members of the community (in its broadest sense – that means Maurice’s mother from Cardiff, please send us your coveted chopped fish recipe) to share their favourite family recipes and their top tips from the kitchen.
From the young to the old, please share your special Jewish food memories.
We have set up a blog (click here for the link) where you can submit and read recipes and take a survey or you can submit your recipe using the form below:
You can also get in touch via email wimshulcooks@gmail.com or obtain a recipe template from the synagogue office.
Please fill in this form with your recipe - it will be emailed to us and help us to develop the cookbook (please note that fields marked with a red * are required):
