What It's Like To Be A MemberWimbledon & District Synagogue is, above all else, welcoming and friendly. In fact the Jewish Chronicle in their 'Weekly Shul & Community Guide' gave us a 5 star friendliness rating - their highest award.
Members pride themselves on recognising new faces and encouraging new members to join in both the religious and the secular activities. In addition to the usual Friday night and Saturday morning services we offer Chavurah suppers, Children’s services, Torah Breakfasts and so much more. There is a wide ranging educational programme for all ages including, of course, Cheder for the younger members of our community on Sunday mornings.
We have a Book Group, a successful choir, bake-ins, musical evenings and amateur dramatics. If you don’t find anything to interest you in our activities why not set up a special interest group with our support?
WDS is above all a caring community and you will enjoy being a part of the largest Reform synagogue in south London.
