I have been a member of the synagogue now for around 15 years and have been the security officer for about 9 of them.  I have developed many friendships over these years and myself, Nicki and our 3 boys Josh, Sam and Louis have been very actively involved to support the synagogue and help the community thrive.

I am a General Manager for a serviced office provider in the City of London and bring a palette of different experiences and skills to the table.  I am one for challenging the status quo, helping to revamp business processes and I have had to deal with continuous change and improvement in a commercial setting to ensure the growth of our business.  A favourite phrase of our CEO is “The definition of madness is continuously doing the same thing and expecting to get different results.”  I know that the synagogue has certain challenges facing it going forward and I want to help forge new and innovative ways to ensure the synagogue continues to thrive and build for the future.

Yvonne Mason

Yvonne has been a member of the synagogue for twenty years. She and her husband, Rob, and children Hannah, Joseph and Miriam have always been very involved in the synagogue. Having crossed the North-South divide very many years ago (originally a member at Middlesex New Synagogue in Harrow), I have been a member at Wimbledon and District Synagogue for some considerable time and am coming up for my sixth year on the Council.  During this time I have chaired the Synagogue Events Group and have been Vice-Chairman since 2009.  This is a friendly and active community .  I hope to continue on Council and contribute to making things bigger, better and more exciting;  and very much hope that in the future many more of our members will want to come forward to join the merry band of volunteers who keep things going.

If elected this will be my second stint on council.
