Film Club
Wimbledon and District Synagogue have a thriving film club which meets about once every six weeks or so. Sometimes these are Israeli made films, but often they will simply be films with a strong Jewish theme or content.
In recent months we have screened films such as:
- Stolpersteine
- Three Mothers
- Beaufort
- The Syrian Bride
- Part In The Blitz
- The Illusion of Return
- The Children Who Cheated The Nazis
- Ushpizin
And many others. In some cases we also host discussions about the films after their viewing. The admission price is normally about £5 including refreshments and there are concessions.
