Rosh HaShanah 5783

The New Year begins on Sunday, 25th of September with our Rosh HaShanah evening service at 6.30pm. The morning service for the first day is on Monday, 26th of September at 10.30am. There will be no service for the second day evening, but we will have again a morning service for the second day of Rosh HaShanah led by Judith and Patrick on Tuesday, 27th of September at 10.30am. The second day morning service will be followed by a bring-and-share lunch and Tashlich in the afternoon.

TICKETS: All High holy day tickets have now been sent out to paying members. If you have not received your ticket/s, please contact the office on office@wimshul.org.

Do you have friends or GUESTS visiting Wimbledon during the Chagim, or do you want to be joined by family members when you come to services? We would be thrilled to welcome your guests, too. Any non-members who would like to purchase tickets should apply on the form below and return it to the office (Ticket Order Form Download). We have a recommended minimum donation of £75 per adult (Age 21 yrs +) and £30 for non-member children aged 13 – 20yrs inclusive. Please contact the office if any concessions are required. We kindly ask members of another Reform or Liberal synagogues/ WUPJ Congregations to contact our office (office@wimshul.org) before you order your tickets.

LIVE STREAM: All Shabbat and High Holy Day services will be live streamed to our YouTube channel. We recommend that you “subscribe” the channel to receive reminders about all upcoming services.
To open the channel on your computer, please use this link: http://tiny.cc/WS-YT. If you want to follow the services on your smartphone, tablet, or smart tv, please open the YouTube application and search for Wimbledon Synagogue.  We will not stream the services on Zoom this year.

CHILDREN’S SERVICES: Children’s services start at 11.00am for Rosh Hashanah (first day) and Yom Kippur. Creche on Rosh Hashanah 10.30am – 1.00pm and Yom Kippur 10.30am –1.00pm
The Creche is for toddlers up to 36 months; the fully staffed crèche operating at OFSTED ratios. Pre booking is required, as we will need some very basic information about your child in writing, either in advance or on the day. 

PARKING: Parking in Queensmere Road is now pay and display. The hours of operation are Monday –Friday 10.00am -4.00pm with a maximum stay of 4hrs in any one period. You will need to pay at the meter or use the telephone pay to park system. However many other roads nearby are free to park such as Inner Park Road, Kingsmere Road, a short walk away.
Parking inside the Synagogue grounds is restricted to those of our congregation with disabilities.  If you have a disability badge, please show your badge at the gate.  If you are bringing a passenger with a disability, space will be left for you to drop your passenger at the entrance before parking on the street outside the premises.
