This Web Site

A team of many people worked hard to build and launch The Wimbledon Synagogue web site and this page gives us a brief opportunity to acknowledge their contribution and to thank them.

The professionals were the team at Energy House Digital or EHD. Many thanks to Clinton, Mark and the team and especially to Daniel who worked so hard, responded to all our requests and put up with us for so long as we pulled this together.  They are a great company and if you would like to visit their website and find out more about their capabilities click here.

Leading the volunteers were Judith Ish-Horowicz and Camilla McGill who have been involved from the beginning.  They led the drive through Council to get the funding for the new site, were invaluable in their input in relation to structure and design and worked tirelessly to proof check all the copy, review the pages, provide contacts, check with our volunteer workforce on details to be included and gave endless support to our Webmaster who is forever in their debt.

We must also thank Sarah Kahn for additional copy editing and proofing at the early stages.

But special thanks goes to our photographers whose work you can see on this page and throughout the site.  The site is very picture hungry and good photography is aboslutely key to the look and feel of the site as you can see. So many thanks to Caroline Silver Lewis and Libby Hipkins for making their photo libraries of the Synagogue available and sharing so generously. Thanks also to Matthew Gibbons who did a brilliant job stepping in at very short notice to photograph our members for our quotes header.  But extra special thanks must go to Andy Freeman.  He was amazing in supporting us, donating his professional time entirely freely, and spending a whole day shooting some wonderful stuff which you can see all over the site.

On behalf of the whole community and on behalf of myself (Ricky Coussins) as the person responsible for managing and drawing it all together – Toda Raba – many thanks.
